Also it's getting a green light when I plug it into the different xbox we have in our house. It may be the USB port, try it in a front port and see if it gets the red light error. Hi, if you're using an older wireless adapter the solid red light indicates the adapter is ready to be configured. In your case you may need to reset the network settings on your console to the factory defaults.
