Like so many Wu-Tang affiliates Royal Fam have recorded an album but never had it released; an album titled Black Castle was so near release as to be given a catalogue number yet never saw the light of day beyond a few leaked tracks. Another Royal Fam album titled Yesterday, Today, Iz Tomorrow was leaked in without the group's knowledge or permission.

Along with 4th Disciple and others, 12 O'Clock is one of the Wu affiliates whose connections to the group go back to before their fame, and he is in fact Ol' Dirty Bastard's cousin.
Celestial Productions is a New York based hip-hop production company. Paragone also produces tracks for CP. The Black Knights. Black Market Militia. Blue Sky Black Death. They are known principally for their hip hop and instrumental music, made with a mix of live instrumentation and sampling. Their name is "a skydiving phrase alluding to beauty and death".
Bronze Nazareth. He is, along with Cilvaringz, part of the new generation of producers to carry on the Wu-Tang sound. He has a solo career as an emcee and is also a part of the hip-hop group Wisemen.
Brooklyn Zu. Buddha Monk. He is a member of the Wu-Tang Clan and has appeared on many of their albums, as well as having a successful solo career. Although many believe him to be a member of the clan, he is not one of the original nine members. Chi King. First of all, Remedy isn't just a rapper; he's also an equally skilled producer, crafting nearly every beat on this album. Secondly, he doesn't rely on the extended Wu family to carry his album; there are actually a minimum of guest rappers here, giving Remedy plenty of time to explore a number of viable topics.
Finally, this guy seems to really instill a lot of emotion into his music; both his rhymes and his beats are obviously labored, and his delivery is equally passionate. So, in short, Genuine Article has the makings of a great debut album.
This guy is a real talent and not a brand extension like many of the other Wu Tang affiliates. Sometimes his lyrical agendas can get a little heavy-handed but, for the most part, there's not a lot to complain about here; this is how a debut rap album should sound.
