S i needed to sudo the remove command. I was having this same problem while trying to install leiningen and it was driving me crazy. Nothing I could find was working, including advice in this thread or in the FAQ. I figured it out though - It turned out that I had installed brew using a different user account as required by a previous company's policies, I had a "home" and a "work" account. I was trying to use brew from my "home" account, but I had installed it with my "work" account.

I suspect it is more like an opened file issue or so,because I can delete stuff just fine. I found something. The issue is for sheet1.
If I add a file close on line The issue goes away for the sheet1. Wait I never build any gem myself, have to figure out how I test it. Maybe I just plug it in by hand. Just pull from git and run it in console rake console , you don't need to build anything.
